We are thrilled to invite everyone to a special Thursday meet and greet happy hour, which will serve as a warm welcome event for our upcoming wedding celebration! Join us at Yaga's (walking distance from the Tremont), a delightful bar and restaurant that holds a special place in our hearts. You see, after Emilio and Mary started dating, they discovered a remarkable coincidence. It turned out that during Mardi Gras in 2019, both of them were at Yaga's at the same time! Although they were unaware of each other's presence, this fateful encounter marked the first time they were ever in the same room (as far as they know). They met two months after, leading them on a beautiful journey that has now brought us all together. We kindly request that you make every effort to attend, as this gathering will provide an opportunity for everyone to get to know each other before the wedding. It will be a casual event, with no official end time. Come as you are and be ready to relax and enjoy.

Join us for a casual German cuisine brunch at Stuttgarden Tavern, conveniently located within walking distance from the Tremont. This gathering will take place the day before the wedding and will provide a fantastic opportunity for everyone to come and go as they please. Consider it a second chance to meet a few faces before the main event. We can't wait to enjoy delicious German dishes, sip on refreshing beverages, and share laughter and stories with all of you. So mark your calendars and let's make this pre-wedding celebration one to remember!

Walking Tour of Historic Galveston

Come along for a captivating morning stroll through the historic streets of Galveston as we explore the architectural wonders that grace this enchanting city. On the morning of the wedding, we invite you to gather in the lobby of the Galveston Courthouse at 10:30 am sharp for a walking tour guided by none other than Stephen Fox, co-author of the Galveston Architecture Guidebook. Immerse yourself in the rich history and intricate designs of Galveston's buildings as we delve into their fascinating stories. Our journey will include the Galveston Federal Courthouse, a place that holds special significance for Emilio and Mary. It was here that Emilio worked when they first met, and he once gave Mary a private tour of the courthouse after hours, revealing its hidden areas and showcasing his extensive knowledge. Don't miss this opportunity to retrace their steps and witness the remarkable beauty that lies within Galveston's historic treasures.

After the reception, the party will not be over. We will be continuing the festivities at a karaoke bar, a few steps away from the Tremont Hotel! We invite each and every one of you to keep the good times rolling.
