We met in the middle of lockdowns at Phillipe Park in Safety Harbor. Everything but the parks were closed. We sat at the benches and talked for hours. Then we decided to get takeout from Craft Street. We sat in our cars and continued to talk into the wee hours of the morning. We agreed to meet again the next day and then the day after that as well. It was clear to both of us early on that there was something special going on. I like you grew to I love you and now love grows into marriage.

On an impromptu mini vacation to St. Augustine we strolled St George street enjoying the historical monuments. We had a great dinner and shared some ice cream. We then walked to the Castillo de San Marcos it was late at night so we had it all to ourselves. We sat on a bench outside the fort. We talked and enjoyed the city lights and water view. I got up to go back to the hotel. I looked over and he was down on one knee. He asked me to marry him and of course I said "YES," and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in St Augustine!
