ML’s Milers
The National Brain Tumor Society is aggressively driving strategic research; advocating for public policies that meet the needs of the brain tumor community; and providing comprehensive patient, family and caregiver resources. This February, our dear friend celebrated 30 years of life, 3 years of marriage and 5 years as a cancer survivor. Please join us in celebrating these milestones by donating to ML's Milers in support of the National Brain Tumor Society's mission. Please consider donating to support ML and ML's Milers in the Race for Hope in DC this May. And if you happen to be in DC, please consider joining us in the race. Thank you!
Augustine Literacy Project
Robert Walker was an amazing young man who impacted the lives of many. As a student, he struggled with dyslexia. Although some may view the diagnosis as a curse, it was a blessing in disguise. Dyslexia made him a more compassionate young man and friend to everyone. After countless hours and resources spent, he graduated from high school and successfully completed his freshman year of college. Through the Robert Walker Dyslexia Tutoring Fund, he continues to make a positive impact, especially on those less fortunate. Please consider donating to support the Augustine Literacy Project, in memory of Robert Walker. The Augustine Literacy Project works to improve the reading, writing and spelling skills for young, aspiring readers in under resourced communities in Charlotte by providing free, long-term, one-on-one instruction from highly trained tutors. Thank you!
