Lots of Flight options depending on what takes your fancy and where you are coming from; Florence Airport, Firenze is the closest Airport to our venue at Villa La Palagina. ~ 30 miles / ~ 40 minutes driving distance to Villa la Palagina. Unfortunately, there are no direct flights from Ireland to Florence, but if travelling from London it is definitely the most convenient. Pisa Airport (This would be our recommendation if coming from Ireland) Direct flights available from Dublin and Cork with both Aerlingus and Ryanair to Pisa. - Approx 1h 35m driving distance to Villa La Palagina if renting a car or wish to organise a shuttle service (more to come on this option). - Also possible to get the Train from Pisa airport to Florence, with regular trains to local Village of Figline (Approx 10mins Taxi from Venue). Please see Train section for more details regarding train travel. Bologna Airport Direct flights available with Ryanair to Bologna from Dublin. -Approx 1h 25m driving distance, again trains available from Bologna Airport to Florence as above. As an alternative, or if you might fancy a visit beforehand; Rome Airport is another option with Direct Flights from Dublin, Cork and of course London. ~180miles / approx 3 hours driving distance from Villa la Palagina or 2 hour and 15 minutes train ride from Rome to Florence. Or Flights available to Milan from Dublin and Knock and UK. Train from Milan to Florence takes 1hr 55m.

Rail services in Italy are fantastic and incredibly good value, so we would advise taking advantage, you can travel via Train from Pisa, Bologna, Rome or Milan to Florence All train schedules and booking can be found at; https://www.italiarail.com Trains run to/from Santa Maria Novella Station (in Florence) and Figline Valdarno (which is about 10 mins taxi to the wedding venue). There are 2-3 trains during each hour of the day, starting around 5-5:30am and ending around 11-11:30pm.
