Our Favorite Places
Monastiraki
This is a great place to go shopping! This is in the heart of Athens, a giant flea market with multiple vendors to look at. There is also some great restaurants near by where you can grab some lunch and enjoy some wine in the middle of your shopping day.
Acropolis
The Acropolis is a must see! George and I went her on our first trip to Greece together and I loved the history and old architecture. The hike to the top is rough on a hot day, but so worth it. George's
This is our favorite gyro spot in Nea Makri! They stuff there pitas to perfection. The owner recognized us almost a year later and welcomed us back with open arms. For a good gyro at a low price, this is absolutely the place to go!
Milos
If you plan to island hop we highly recommend you stop at Milos! Milos has been our favorite island that we've gone to together. It is also where we got engaged! This island is so beautiful with each beach being so different. Sarakiniko has beautiful moon like sand and the water is clear as day. If its not too windy or a day cliff diving is always a fun idea. If you travel here we recommend trying their seafood, it is what they are most known for! We attached the link to buy ferry tickets to any of the islands you would like to visit while in Greece!
