Although they both went to the same church and lived in the same town, Noah and Julia didn’t meet until September 25th, 2016 at the Stone Church in Newmarket, NH. They were both attending an open mic in support of the Terry Sharbaugh Band when Julia got the guts to introduce herself to the guy in the raccoon sweatshirt (which has since been donated to Good Will). The next morning, Noah added Julia on Facebook, she sent him a message, and the rest is history.
The last week of August 2019, Noah and Julia flew out to Colorado to visit her side of the family and do some sightseeing in the Rocky Mountains. On August 29th, they took a 10 mile hike to Odessa Lake. They found some cute picas (look them up ASAP), a black fly flew into Julia’s eye, and they got a little turned around; but soon they approached the peak of the hike. Noah suggested they sit for a minute by Odessa Lake. He pulled out the ring and she agreed to spend the rest of her life with him. She was crying, but it could have been because the bug was still in her eye.
