Things To Do

We're so excited to share a few of our favorite places (and restaurants) in area with you! Make sure to check back as we will be updating this throughout the coming months.
South Coast Botanic Garden

South Coast Botanic Garden

26300 Crenshaw Boulevard, Palos Verdes Estates, CA 90274
, (424) 452-0920

Located in the Palos Verdes Hills, the South Coast Botanic Garden extends over 87 acres of land and is home to over 150,000 plants and trees. Some of the highlights include a Japanese Garden and Koi Pond, a Mediterranean Garden, a Rose Garden, a display greenhouse, a children’s discovery garden, and the Banyan Grove - a spectacular tangle of Moreton Bay Fig trees.

Bluff Cove Lookout

Bluff Cove Lookout

809 Paseo Del Mar, Palos Verdes Estates, CA 90274

Bluff Cove is a great location for viewing the sunset or sunrise and is only a short hike of 0.5 miles (perfect for everyone) out to the bluff and back. We also recommend checking out Flat Rock Point, which is quite a scenic location at sunset.

Sandbar 66

Sandbar 66

900 Manhattan Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
, (310) 318-0834

Sandbar is a neighborhood bar in Manhattan Beach that pairs modern tiki vibes with a beach town feel. They serve craft cocktails and a full lunch and dinner menu! This is also one of our favorite bars to stop into for a daytime drink.

Pancho's Restaurant

Pancho's Restaurant

3615 Highland Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
, 310-545-6670

If you are looking for sit-down restaurant, Pancho's in Manhattan Beach is an amazing option! Built by the Lawrence family in 1977, this South Bay landmark has an expansive, authentic Mexican menu including delicious hand-made margaritas.

Sloopy's Beach Cafe

Sloopy's Beach Cafe

3416 Highland Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
, (310) 545-1373

Snoopy's Beach Cafe has been a go-to for locals since it was established in 1967. Although it originally started out as a favorite for burgers and shakes, it has now expanded into a homey cafe that includes a diverse menu. It also doesn't hurt that it is located just steps away from the beach!

Phanny's

Phanny's

1021 South Pacific Coast Highway, Redondo Beach, CA 90277
, 310-316-0798

If you know us, you know we love a good breakfast burrito! This place in Redondo Beach has been serving up breakfast burritos since 1982. The only downside is that they are closed on Mondays.

El Tarasco Mexican Food

El Tarasco Mexican Food

316 Rosecrans Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
, (310) 545-4241

If you don't mind a tiny hole in the wall, this specific El Tarasco is hard to beat. It's also perfect for grabbing a quick bite to eat before or after the beach.

For all the days along the way
