Marlo and Forrest met how every fairytale starts..."Once upon a time, on Hinge..." Forrest asked Marlo for her number and Marlo replied that he must first write her an original rap about Baby Yoda. Forrest, being the poet and rapper that he is, wooed her with his sick rhymes. The two met up in Boulder for their first date, adorned in masks and walked up and down Pearl Street sipping apple cider. The rest is history!

Forrest invited his and Marlo's families to join him at his Aunt and Uncle's house in Gunnison, CO, an incredibly beautiful and special place throughout their relationship. Forrest took Marlo on a "scenic drive" and when they returned to the house everyone was there to surprise her. Forrest got down on one knee, asked her to marry him, dropped the ring, found the ring in the grass and put it on Marlo's finger.
