This is where we are having our reception (we think it's beautiful)! It is walking distance from Mission Basilica church, where we will be married, and walking distance to Historic Downtown San Juan Capistrano.

This is a great location for a hotel stay, Hotel Volaré is located parallel to the main street, El Camino Real. It is walking distance to everything you need in San Clemente and close to the beach and famous San Clemente Pier. It is about ~8 miles and a ~15 minute drive to the church and reception venues.

The closest and most convenient airport, about 30 minutes away from San Juan Capistrano and San Clemente.

Los Angeles International Airport

Los Angeles (LAX) is roughly 1.5 hour drive depending on traffic. LAX has better public transit options and the Metrolink train is an option if you will not be renting a car. However, it is highly recommended to rent a car.

San Diego (SAN) Airport is roughly 75 minute drive to San Clemente depending on traffic. Renting a car is highly recommended.

Metrolink

The Metrolink is a fun way to get from San Juan Capistrano to San Clemente and even Carlsbad in North County San Diego (they are repairing that leg at the moment). It can even take you to and from Los Angeles Union Station in downtown LA.

Auto Rentals / Uber

Southern California is not known for great public transportation options. If you are coming from out of town, it is recommended to rent a car. You can also use Uber or Lyft.
