I admire Shermetra's strength and heart the most. Our better halves already know we talk to each other 3-4 times a day and secretly call ourselves the real city girls. Without a doubt, I could not imagine going down the aisle without Shermetra by my side.

NeChelle and I are first cousins and although we have never lived in the same state we have always stayed connected throughout our life. We would actually write each other letters through the mail when we were younger lol. One thing NeChelle and I will do is show up for each other no matter the time or place, which makes our relationship even more special. She is a dedicated mother and wife and I've always admired her strength and tenacity. Just like any other time, I'm glad she will be by my side on one of the most important day of my life. Shareka and I are best buds from THE Texas Southern University. We met in Chemistry class (she needed to see my homework and I was nice lol) and have been inseparable. Shareka and I have shared so many memories during college and after college. Whenever we are around each other it is non-stop laughter accompanied by tears. With Shareka by my side, I know I won't take my self too serious on the big day and have a constant smile on my face.

Brittany aka Bedo is like the little sister I never had with a heart of gold. Brittany and I met through high school volleyball and our friendship quickly sprung into a sisterhood. Brittany has been there through every up and down in my life and always has my back 100%. I can count on Brittany to make me laugh, keep it real, and fix me a hump ponytail if I need her too (#throwback lol). We have talked about this moment for many years and I'm thrilled that she gets to experience right along with me!

Dyamond and I have known each other since junior high school. We even worked together at Outback Steakhouse in high school together ( I can taste the bread and butter now lol). I can always count on Dyamond's loyalty and as she would say, she has always been "10 toes down" through the many years of our friendship. Dyamond is not only a friend but truly my sister. With 10 years of marriage under her belt, she is surely what I need as we countdown to the big day. I'm lucky to have Dyamond by my side as I marry Brandon!

Dede and I have known each other since junior high school, but our friendship really grew through high school and college. Dede is honestly the glue to our friend group, while keeping us laughing and making sure we stay humble. You will often see Dede and I cutting up and laughing when we probably should be serious lol. But, when I need someone to keep it real with me, I can definitely call my girl! Dede reminds me that marriage is not for the weak and I know she will be a great support system for Brandon and I. I'm so glad Dede will be by my side on the big day!

Teranika and I met through Brandon, she is the wife of his best friend DeVon. I was told early on if I was going to be around, I had to meet Tera and get her approval lol. The first day we met we automatically clicked. We have so many similarities from education, our random Target runs, and the love of a black luxury bag. It was important for me to include someone close to Brandon on our wedding day and Tera was the perfect person. I can't wait to have Tera apart of my special day.

Torrian and I have been knowing each other for over nine years. We met our first day in education and she quickly became my work wife. The education world likes to call us TNT, short for Timms and Tillman! With a career in education, it's important to have partner that you can count on everyday and Torrian was just that for me! Her and I became friends outside of work and are forever connected. I admire Torrian's creativity and main character energy! It's only right that she is standing by my side as I marry the love of my life.

Nnenna is my god baby and the daughter of Shermetra. Nnenna is the only baby I have seen grow up from birth and that's why our bond is like no other. To her I'm known as Kiki, and if it's up to me she gets anything she wants lol. Nnenna is talented in so many ways and the life of the party. I can't wait to see her slay down the aisle. Just wait! My cousin is like my brother!!! We linked back up when we were adults it was like we were never apart. I know our grandmothers are in heaven smiling down. We laugh, argue and cry together. This is my dawg for life. Funny story is that I actually got Markita's number on his birthday, and I told him before I talked to him that this is it my boy!!!

Big bro right here!! My boy Devon has been through everything and I MEAN everything. Devon actually taught me how to drive, even though I almost killed us LOL!!! I have learned a lot from him, but I always tell him that I am a better basketball coach than him. When he met Markita, he was like "WELP you're out the game!!!" My dude has always had my back, and I always be grateful for that!!!

Devin has been that Lil bro I never had!!! I told his mom that she should was supposed to have him on my birthday, but instead he was born the next day. Devin and I always argue about football stats. Devin got a chance to meet Markita, and they hit it off immediately. She inspired him to get in to teaching, and he has been exceptional. I always enjoy the phone calls we have when he has questions, and I am able to give him some "big cuz" advice.

This guy Maal is like another brother to me. Been knowing him for years, and we are apart of the GREATEST FRATERNITY IN THE UNIVERSE!! I stayed at his crib before Markita and I went on our first date. He was like, "you taking her to Perry's?!?!?!" When he first met Markita, he went straight pledging mode! Told her to bring to his gathering a blue gatorade LOL!! Hey matter of fact, Markita through the alley to who is now his Fiancé. Maal has always been a solid dude!!!

I met Rome back in 2010 at Grace Prep and we been close ever since. When you talk about a loyal brother, it is definitely this guy!!! He became my big brother when I got in to coaching. He is a selfless individual, and you want those people around. He is family oriented, and he doesn't know that I look up to him in a lot of those aspects. His family welcomed me in like I was one of their own. He is intricate part in getting me back to move back up to the metroplex. Rome is one solid guy and I am honored to have him as one of my groomsmen.

My guy Jamison! Been knowing him for a long time. Jamison is what you call family. Has always checked on me no matter where I have been. This dude here may be one of the funniest guys I know and he doesn't even try to be. When he got to UTA, we really held it down for all of Austin while in the Metroplex. His words of wisdom has always been on point. One thing about him is always been about family. You ask him to be somewhere and he shows up all the time! He swears he is the fashion guru LOL!

Chase is a young man that has been here before. I finally met him in 2016, and we clicked instantly! I would put him up against any sports guru and he will hold his own. Very bright young man, and I am excited for what the future holds for my guy. When Markita asked me about a Junior groomsman it was a no brainer!
