We both were born and raised in Dixon. We attended the same middle school, high school, and even played for the same rugby club in high school. We never really interacted directly, but knew of each other as most do growing up in a small town. Fast forward 12 years later and we reconnected on a night out with friends in downtown Dixon. Our first date shortly followed...and now we're getting married!

Noah planned a weekend getaway to Monterey Beach for Memorial Day weekend. While walking on the beach, he got on one knee and asked Markayla, "Will you marry me?" With an enthusiastic "yes, yes, yes" and repeated head nodding the two were engaged. See you in June! Can't wait to celebrate with you all!
