We’re getting married!

It all started back in 2016 when Facebook messenger was more popular. Mark and I both went to Lewis University and were friends on Facebook but had never met before. Mark decided to shoot his shot and message me with a “hey you” and the rest is history. Our first time meeting each other was downtown Chicago at Sluggers while I was out for my maid of honor Joyce’s 21st birthday. Couldn’t have been a better night for me! Mark then asked me out to dinner and our new special spot became Mon Ami Gabi in the Belden Stratford, Marks old living quarters in Lincoln Park. From talking and dating, to becoming lovers, to fiancés, we couldn’t imagine a life without each other. Thank you for celebrating our special day with us, we are so blessed!

Fast forward 5 years and on June 9th, 2022, Mark asked Colleen to be his wife. Colleen and Mark, along with their best friends and family were on a road trip out west. Glacier National Park was the last stop and the most magical spot forever. It was a beautiful evening and while everyone was hanging out around the Airbnb, Mark pulled Colleen aside for the most magical proposal. Colleen was completely shocked and couldn't be happier to hear Mark say, will you marry me? It was the most beautiful and special moment while being surrounded by family and friends!
