We met sometime in the fall of 2019 at Parkview in Fort Wayne, Indiana. To say we locked eyes in the operating room would be an overstatement unfortunately. We needed some help and a little push. Step in our friend and coworker, Anne McLaren, who put into motion setting us up on a blind date. She couldn't keep our identities a secret, but she was successful nonetheless. 2 dinner dates with her and her husband Lev and a 4 hour one on one coffee date later, we had our eyes locked on each other and the rest is history.

Well not for Bethany. She wasn't expecting anything but a nice, relaxing trip to Mexico. Valentine's day came and went, but the next day Mark guided her out to the beach and was down on one knee. He surprised her with a ring and asking her the question. There was no hesitation to her answer.

This part of the story has yet to unfold, but we are so thankful for you all to help celebrate and support us in this next step.
