Mark and Becky believe in living in the moment. For that reason the wedding ceremony will be an Unplugged ceremony. Please turn off all phones, cameras and iPads during the wedding ceremony. We will happily share the photos from this special moment that the wonderful photographer (Shannon from fotoNovella) captures.
Mark and Becky first met in 2012 though a mutual friend while attending Oregon State University. However, it wasn't until 2014 that they finally realized how much they actually had in common and began dating. As they both completed their Bachelor's Degrees (2015/2016), Becky turned her sights on veterinary school. Mark moved to Enterprise, OR to be closer to Becky during the summers. This however meant that the two lived 7-hours apart during the school year. Nevertheless, they persevered and their relationship managed to survive and thrive as Becky completed and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. The two now reside in Tri-Cities, WA with their dog, Chisum, and cat, O'Malley. Becky works as a mixed animal veterinarian and Mark works for Lamb Weston as a supervisor.
The White Barn Estate is a very special place for the Mark and Becky. Not only is it a beautiful venue where they get to say "I do", but it played a major part in Becky's childhood. The farm was previously owned by her grandparents, Gene and Maria Walker. Rebecca and her family spent many days at the farm helping Grandpa with various chores and Grandma with her garden and her chickens. The barn itself is where Becky and her siblings played with the various farm cats and got up close and personal with a couple Barn owls. After Gene and Maria passed away, the farm was sold to the current owners who turned it into the beautiful wedding venue it is today. The farm now brings joy and happiness to so many other people, just as Grandma would have wanted it to.
