Shelley was wearing a Fire Island tank top, and Mark's first words to her were, "Hey! What do you know about Fire Island?!" They soon realized they had (at least) Fire Island, motorcycles, and sailing in common. A month later, Mark took Michelle on their first date into the trails of Kahuku on the back of his Kawasaki dirt bike, and he only crashed it once that day!
