FAQs

The Wedding Website of Marissa Morris and Hunter Maki
Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30PM and we ask that you plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony - just to make sure everyone is seated before we begin!

Question

What is the attire / What should I wear?

Answer

We ask that our guests wear semi-formal/cocktail attire. We live in Texas so boots & jeans with a sport coat is fine but you better not show up in sweats thank you :)

Question

Will the event take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will most likely be inside (unless we get a random 80 degree day in February which has definitely happened before so fingers crossed). Our dinner & reception will be indoors as well!

Question

What is the weather typically like at that time of year?

Answer

You can expect it to be cold, honestly I might even pack thermal underwear if you're not used to the humid cold. However, keep an eye on your weather app because, in Texas, if you don't like the weather it will change in an hour!

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there are plenty of spaces available on site!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Please check your RSVP to see how many seats we have reserved in your honor. Although this is not specifically a child-free event, we HIGHLY encourage our friends and family to get a sitter and make this a date night because we plan to party!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Please check your RSVP to see how many seats we have reserved in your honor.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Check out our "TRAVEL" page for links to our hotel room blocks and fun things to do around the venue!

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

Dinner is on us! We will be having Braised Short Rib, Mashed Potatoes, Sun-dried Tomato Pasta, Salad, and Bread (aka all the best things in life). Bring your appetite!

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible. All final numbers must be provided to vendors no later than 3 weeks prior to the event so if you have not responded by 01/25/25, your presence will be missed but hopefully we can celebrate together in the future!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered right here at ZOLA! Curious to see what we need? Just click on the "REGISTRY" page at the top of our website to check it out!
