A visit to New Orleans wouldn't be complete without a beignet!
One of our favorite places in New Orleans! Wine, cheese plates and live music -- great for day drinking, happy hour, or after dinner drinks.
No visit to New Orleans is complete without a stop at the Pat O's piano bar!
We recommend heading to Frenchman Street for a night out filled with live music. The Maison and Blue Nile are some of our favorites.
One of our favorite late night bars in the French Quarter! Be sure to order a Flaming Dr. Pepper
A great day time activity if you are looking for something to do during your visit that does not involve drinking or eating :) Take a tour of the studio where they build Mardi Gras floats and learn about the history of Mardi Gras. Be sure to purchase tickets in advance.
A beautiful park in uptown New Orleans, right by Tulane. If it isn't too hot, we recommend taking the Streetcar from Canal St all the way uptown on St. Charles avenue. Get off in front of Tulane and head to the park from there (right across the street). Walk around the loop to check out the beautiful southern oak trees and Spanish moss. The park borders Magazine Street, which has great restaurants, shops, and galleries to check out (Ashley Longshore Gallery is a favorite!).
A pretty park in the heart of the French Quarter, right by Cafe Du Monde. We recommend walking along Royal Street on your way here to check out the art galleries and antique shops.
