They met about five years ago when Ethan started working at Buffalo and instantly clicked as friends at work. As the years passed they just became closer, spending time with friends, and always a shoulder for each other to lean on when times were hard. As they became closer Ethan started helping Marissa out with the kids, babysitting or just simply coming over and hanging out, spending time with them. For a while the kids called him uncle Ethan as they had created they’re own special bond. Ethan and Marissa had plans of moving in together as roommates, but before doing so, a serious conversation was to be had. Under the surface feelings had been stirring and while they already shared a love in their friendship, they had more to give each other. Ethan told Marissa how he had felt, she couldn’t deny there had been a chemistry the two shared and so began their adventure as a couple. They moved in together and both couldn’t be happier. For about six months they lived happily together as their little family of four, plus a couple of pups! The couple did however face a little strife when Ethan had to spend four months away in basic training. It was a rough time for both, but they never lost love for each other. It only grew. They wrote letters to one another, spent almost every Saturday or Sunday on the phone for as long as they possibly could. They never lost sight of their love for one another, waited every day to be in each other’s arms again. Finally that day came, they spent some quality time with family, quality time alone, and then got to come back home to their life together. After a week of being back home he finally asked for her hand. He had already asked the kids and Marissa’s dad, now he just needed to ask her. So after a night at work, she came home, they got the kids to bed, then were in the kitchen talking. As they stood there lost in love with each other, he began to tell her all the reasons he loved her. He got down on one knee, telling her how he couldn’t imagine life without her, and asked that big question! Obviously she said yes, but before he could slide a ring on there was a little one coming to intrude. They sent her on her way saying they would be in there soon to tuck her back in, as she walked off Marissa turned back to Ethan so he could put the ring on. Before he could even get off of his knee both kiddos were there, trying to find out if she said yes. Once they saw the ring the whole family was filled with joy! So now the adventure continues as they plan the wedding and their future together!
