The couple met in Spring 2019, when Marissa was hired at their department. Glenn heard about the new hire and had to see for himself. Eventually, Glenn saw her and knew he had to introduce himself. Not long after, Glenn heard that Marissa was doing reports in the office. He took that as his perfect opportunity to lend some "help”, since she was new and unsure what she was doing. After their encounter, Marissa left for the Police Academy for 5 months and couldn’t stop trying to track down who Glenn was. A few months after the Police Academy, she was working an overtime shift. Glenn heard she was working and “ironically” drove passed her post. The two talked for awhile that day. That Summer they began working everyday together. During that time, they both grew curious about each other while chasing one another around Camden just to talk more. In October 2020, they went on their first date. In November they made it official and the rest is history!

While vacationing in Florida, Glenn and Marissa went out for the night in Lauderdale by the sea for drinks and dinner. Immediately after the first bar, Glenn asked Marissa to go for a walk on the beach. It was the windiest day of the week which raised suspicion for Marissa, but, the two ventured towards the windy beach anyway. After a few minutes of Glenn nervously staring at Marissa, he dropped to one knee asking to marry her with a beautiful ring. The only response she could get out was “I knew it!”. The two still to this day argue if she ever actually said “yes” but, it has always been a yes in her book.
