We're Getting Married!

We found each other on the dating app Hinge in early January 2020. Doug seemed sweet and on our first date he took us to Oliver's Twist for cocktails, then for some Thai (where he didn't even eat because he was too nervous!), and then because I just couldn't get enough of him, we finished at what would become a staple, Olaf's. Due to the pandemic the last 2 years has felt more like 5, and in our first year alone we spent nearly every single day together. We got engaged April 24, 2021 while on a weekend getaway to the North Cascades, it was incredibly romantic; I just wish I could remember anything Doug said. "Brick House" was playing in the background and that's all that has stuck in my memory. <3
