We're so excited to celebrate with you. Gruene has a special place in our hearts. Here are some fun places to visit and restaurants to try if you plan to stay in the area.

Gruene Hall

Hopefully we are blessed with beautiful weather. If so, stop by the farmers market to get some snacks and have a little picnic and take the paddle boats out on the lake or play a round of miniature golf.

Landa Park

This whole area has a ton of neat restaurants and pubs. I highly recommend walking around if the weather permits.

New Braunfels Brewing Company

Not in New Braunfels, but just a short drive down I-35. ~$30 a person depending on availability. Book ahead to save. Parking is free.

Natural Bridge Caverns

View the Holiday lights in the downtown square, walk around, do some shopping. There are lot's of unique stores and restaurants in this area.

Gruene Historic District

Cocktail speakeasy attached to the Prince Solms Hotel - highly recommend!

Sidecar

Great for brunch or light bites and to hang out. This is where Augie participated in his first Wiener Dog race.

Krause's Cafe

Bowling, live music, games, with food and drinks.

Downtown Social

A converted post office from the 1915 setting for upscale, Cajun-styled seafood. Highly recommend!

McAdoo's Seafood Company

There are two locations, one in Gruene and one in downtown New Braunfels. It's just pickles, but it's not just any pickle, it's the BEST pickle.
