At the beginning of senior year at Cornell, Marilyn and Chris were both attending a mutual friend's party. Marilyn was surprised when she saw a handsome stranger who she had never met. They began talking, and quickly realized that Chris had interned in Marilyn's small Northern Californian town, Pleasanton. They talked all night, but parted ways at the end, thinking that they'd never see each other again. After that, they began to bump into each other more and more until finally, Chris asked Marilyn to his Fraternity date night. They had an amazing time together. Fraternity date night turned into daily chats, which turned into casual dates. By the time they unintentionally ended up on Spring Break together, sparks were flying. They decided that although senior year was coming to an end and potentially diverging their paths, that no matter what, they wanted to be together and they would make it work. And they did.
