Vallejo is conveniently located 30 minutes away from Napa Valley. In your spare time, you can take the scenic route through the wine country and stop by the many wineries along the way! Castello di Amorosa, one of our favorite wineries, offers a selection of wine tasting experiences, including a tour of their castle and an exclusive wine tasting room.
Another alternative to driving across the bridge to San Francisco is taking the ferry! You can purchase tickets at the ferry building in Vallejo, and take the ferry directly to the San Francisco Ferry Building or Pier 41. The San Francisco Ferry Building has a few restaurants and coffee shops, and is about a 30 minute walk to the famous Pier 39 where you can get the most delicious mini donuts! Make sure to bring a pair of comfortable walking shoes and a jacket or two!
