Vince and I met through two of our best friends at Maine South. We quickly became friends and then started dating over the summer shortly after.

As long as Vince and I have been together, we have enjoyed surprising each other with fun dates. A few of these include going to museums, some nice restaurant dates, and shopping in different cities. On August 12th, Vince told me that he was taking me on a surprise date and to look nice. He ended up taking us to one of our favorite hole in the wall restaurants, Edzo's in Downtown Evanston. We had our favorite meals-chicken tenders for myself and of course a burger for Vince. After lunch, Vince took us on a walk near Northwestern which we had also loved to do since the beginning of dating. He took me to an area we had never walked by before that had a beautiful pond and surrounding greenery with the idyllic Lake Michigan background. We circled the pond until we were centered near some beautiful flowers and that is where Vince asked to marry me. It was the best day of our lives, and we cannot wait for the wedding ahead and to celebrate with all of you!
