When you know, you know...It all began with a long distance friendship during times when traveling was challenging. We were in different countries (The United States & Nicaragua) while our friendship was beginning with lots of video calls, text messages and an abundance of Instagram likes. Quickly, our friendship began to take a romantic turn to soon become boyfriend and girlfriend. Even with so many mutual friends, we never met in person. We like to think it was not our time just yet. After meeting for the first time in Florida, where we fell in love and began to grow a beautiful friendship and a romantic relationship, it was evident that the words "meant to be" finally had a meaning for both of us. After a year of a long distance relationship, in which major events happened - like meeting each other's parents and family, and going on a baseball road trip, on December 8th, 2021 we got engaged at Duna Beach in Tola, Nicaragua - a spot appropriately nicknamed "Proposal Point". Our love begins with friendship, and continues to be a strong, dedicated and trustworthy one that we continuously keep caring for, and we hope we can inspire others with our love.
