We met at our local dog park, Pooches Pine in West Palm Beach. It was evening time, with the cotton candy sunset above the entire park; perfect sweater weather. We shared a park bench, and spoke until the sun went down. Next thing we know, everyone is gone, and the park ranger is making their rounds. We leave without exchanging numbers; because we knew we would meet again soon. We didn't think of it much then, but we knew something had sparked. The very next day, we met there again with smiles on our faces. A few tennis matches, dog park dates, movie nights, camping weekend, and beach days later, we knew it was forever.

On Friday, December 2nd, we packed our bags for a "weekend getaway with the pups". As we begin our road trip, Matthew suggests we stop by the dog park to "let the dogs out before a long trip". Next to the benches where it all started, was a beautiful trillium plant. It was evening time, my favorite time of day. As we sat down, that's when Matthew leaned in and told me, "you know babe, I love you very much, and..." the rest was the most beautiful intimate moment. Of course I said YES! I look behind us, and see my mom, dad, brother, and sister(s) standing behind the park gate with champagne and toast ready to celebrate this loving gesture of the next chapter of our lives; as Mr. and Mrs. Kahn. We are so excited to celebrate and cherish this moment with you! See you in sunny side Florida<3!
