We're Getting Married!

Who knew those dating apps actually worked?! Technically, Christina made the first move (it was Bumble...the girl needs to reach out first). They swiped, they had one conversation that consisted of the time old argument of sauce vs. gravy, and two days later they met at Mike's friends restaurant for drinks and dinner. When they both picked the Montepulciano, they knew this was the start of something special. Around the same time as the first swipe (March 2019), Mike's job was coming to an end. His new job was starting, and it happened to be at the Hartsdale Trader Joe's around the corner from Christina's apartment. With Mike living in Huntington, Long Island at the time, and Christina in Westchester, it was truly fate that they were brought together. Everything fell into place, and the rest is history! Fast forward two years, and on a beautiful trip to Jamaica, Mike carried around the ring with him for two days before finding the right time to propose. It wasn't at a fancy dinner, or at the finish line of a marathon. It was in their bathing suits at a rooftop pool, and it couldn't have been more perfect. Mike got down on one knee "like a boss" (ask to see the video) and Christina cried and forgot to even say yes. It was magical. Exactly sixteen months to the day of the proposal, they'll be walking down the aisle in the same church that they were both baptized in (another 'meant to be' moment), and preparing to start this new journey of the rest of their lives together.
