My sister from another mother, my core, my friend. We met before the pandemic and quarantined as a bubble of 7. She's Sammy's second mom and my biggest support raising this wonderful boy. She brought to our lives Thomas, Tom, Elizabeth, Julia, Dasher and Bandit, her wonderful family that we feel ours now. I truly appreciate her easygoing nature, multitasking skills, strong work ethic, faith and above all, her enormously generous and kind heart.

We live parallel lives, we've faced similar challenges and since we met we've been there to support each other, we talk almost every day despite of the distance... The sweetest woman an iron magnolia, a pink princess who always knows how to make reality dreamy. Always together in our hearts, the proof that distance means nothing when you want to be present in someone's life. She's traveling all the way from Switzerland to be here with us. From Catalonia to the world!

Lore is my anchor, my life coach. The person I come to when I need to get real and see things with a more practical outlook. She gives it to you straight and I love her honesty. She was living in front of my apartment when we lived in Lima, she was working in Zurich when I lived in Geneva, she arrived to DC shortly before me and here is where we met. She treasures her independence and is an inspiring hard worker. She was the first of my friends to meet Evan, my +1 at parties, the voice of reason when I need it. Without her I just would not have found my husband or the strength to not run away when I was too afraid because things were going too well!!! She keeps me centered and in check, helps me make things less complex and live happier.

She's the reason why I almost never met Evan. She was the hot blond in one of Evan's dating profile pictures! He said she was his sister but I almost not read the prompt... I mean, look at her!! haha . Once she heard the news of our engagement she and Erik sent us the most amazing rose bouquet. She was the first member of Evan's family I met and she made me feel so welcome! I really appreciate her sense of humor and taste for adventure, the fact that she's always been there for Evan, her uncomplicated nature and I'm happy to have her as my sister-in-law now <3
