Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us!

Mariana

Bride

Mariana and I met shortly after my family relocated to Florida. I was instantly enthralled with her but, it wasn't meant to be when we were younger. We started dating going in to our senior year of high school and I wouldn't have it any other way. She has opened up my world and taught me so much. She took me out of the country for the first time; first on a cruise, then Brazil and finally Iceland. She has taught me to think of someone other than myself and changed my mind on love. Before her, I didn't know it was possible to love someone with every fiber of your being. She is the first thing I think about when I wake up and the last thing on my mind before I go to bed. Mariana pushes me constantly to better myself and become a more well rounded man. I am so excited for our future together.

Joshua

Groom

Josh and I met in middle school band class, shortly after his family moved down to South Florida. We were friends up until we finally started dating in high school. Josh is funny (at least I think so sometimes), hard working, and so loving. He is thoughtful (even though it took six years to start getting flowers), and can always make me smile even in the worst situations. If you don't believe in soul mates, explain to me how a boy from Indiana and a girl from Brazil end up in West Boca, FL. Even now living six thousand miles away, Josh still has a way of making me feel loved every single day. He is supportive and always motivates me to keep pushing forward. Josh has shown me unconditional love, and I can't wait to spend the rest our lives together!

Ivanete Dombrowski

Mother of the Bride

When I think of my mom, the first word that comes to mind is fierce. She has battled through challenges her entire life, yet manages to make it look so easy to the rest of us. She constantly puts her family first in everything she does, is the hardest worker I have ever met, and is the kindest most loving mother I could ever imagine. She has taught me so much and is my greatest inspiration. I hope someday to be half the mother and woman she is. She has loved Josh like her own son from the very beginning, even though she had to force him to smile in pictures for a good couple months!

Marco Dombrowski

Father of the Bride

My dad is the kind of person I strive to be like every single day. He is calm, loving, and supportive. He always has a way with his words that can turn any day into a great one. He is the true example that hard work and perseverance makes all the difference. He taught me what it means to be loved and respected, and I know that Josh will live up to those standards every day like he already has. My dad has shown me he is the hero I look up to every day. Although I may be losing his name, não vou largar nunca mais.

Tracy Carter

Mother of the Groom

My mom has selflessly served myself, my dad, and my sister for years. She has worked tirelessly and made sacrifices for my sister and I our whole lives and I am eternally grateful. I would not be the man I am today without her teaching me to be loving, caring, and considerate to everyone. She was always a fantastic judge of the girls and I would bring home (not that there were that many) and was skeptical of all but Mariana. She loved Mariana immediately; this was indication that I had finally found the right girl.

Brad Carter

Father of the Groom

My dad has always been a selfless provider for our family. He has worked my whole life to give us the best lives he possibly could; sometimes that would mean working long hours or working far away but we always knew he did it all out of love. Dad was the firm hand I needed, when I needed it (most of the time) and wise advice giver when I needed. He spent my whole life teaching me to be a gentleman to the women in my life and I wouldn't be the man I am without him. He always told me to listen to my mother when it came to the girls in my life but, when I brought Mariana around he instantly liked her (just like my mom) this was another indication to me that I had found the right woman.

Elizabeth Noe

Maid of Honor

Liz and I met when we became sorority sisters in college. We instantly became best friends and inseparable, and soon became roommates for our last two years of school. My favorite memories of us include running late to countless sorority events, casual wine nights on the couch, and spontaneous Disney trips. While we currently don’t live in the same city, and Liz is about to make the move to frigid Alaska, she is still the most supportive best friend a girl could ask for. She is kind, funny, and has the biggest heart (especially when it comes to dogs).

Robert Ellenwood

Best Man

I met Robert while pledging my fraternity in college. We started as gym buddies; he was in charge of lifting and I was in charge of cardio. When it was time to move off campus Robert and I moved in to our first place together and were roommates right up until I had to move away for work. We have had quite a lot of fun together from Wine Wednesdays to fraternity parties. He is the type of friend that is the first person you call if you need help and the first you call if you want to have a fun time.

Meghan Carter

Bridesmaid

Meghan is Josh's older sister (only by 11 months!). We have known each other almost as long as Josh and I have. Meghan has welcomed me into the family from day one. From countless family gatherings and trips, to drinking around the world at Epcot, Meghan is always five feet of fun! Meghan is supportive and kind, and is the sister I never had. We are so honored to have her as a part of our big day, and I am so lucky to have a Sister in Law like her.

Wyatt Kearns

Groomsman

Wyatt and I met through Robert. He went to high school with Robert and they have maintained their friendship ever since. Since the first time Robert brought him around Wyatt and I have always gotten along and had a lot of fun together. He is a large part in many of the fun stories that Robert and I have together. We know him as someone that likes to drink and cut loose but some of you may know him as the First Officer on your next American Eagle flight. Wyatt and I have really bonded over our new stations in life with both of us being so far from friends and family.

Allie King

Bridesmaid

Allie and I met at work and quickly became friends when we booked a cruise together. She is most likely to out drink you, especially if you can give her a good Bourbon. Allie has a huge heart and loves to volunteer with several different organizations. She is the friend that always checks on you, is always down to do just about anything, and I know will always be in touch no matter where in the world we both end up. I am so lucky to have found this coworker that turned into family.

Douglas Cirillo

Groomsman

Douglas and I have been friends for as long as my family and I have been in Florida. He was the first friend I made after the big move in 6th grade and he has been a true friend ever since. We have had many adventures and misadventures together (our competitive spirit with one another being a large contributor). Through the years we haven't always stayed in close contact but with a friendship like ours, whenever we see each other it's like picking up right where we left off the last visit. A man can't ask for a more true friend.

Megan Ortega

Bridesmaid

Megan and I met when I joined our sorority in college. A couple years later we both wanted a roommate, and have lived together since! Roommate privileges include unlimited Pho dinner dates, late night warm cookie trips, and popping bottles of bubbly. (Josh has a lot to live up to!) Megan is hard working and kind, and was the person who introduced me to my favorite volunteer opportunity mentoring with Big Brothers Big Sisters. I’m so lucky to have her as a friend!

Aaron Mickler

Groomsman

Aaron and I also met through Robert (he's actually Robert's cousin). He and I quickly realized we have quite a lot in common. In the years since meeting him we have become very close; reaching out to each other to just chat about random things and for serious advice on issues/challenges in our lives. Aaron came and spent 2 weeks with me in Hawaii while I was finishing up the pool project. He reminded me of the fun of being in Hawaii and not to waste the great opportunity I was given.

Chelsea Nagel

Bridesmaid

Chelsea and I met when she joined our sorority in college. I was pretty close to graduating but knew she had to be my little when I met her. While we didn't get years together in college, we still meet for our favorite food group (tacos). Chelsea is fun and loves having a good time; you can most likely find her on the dance floor droppin' it low. She is definitely the wild soul of our little fam and brings out the fun in this grandma!

Noah Von Almen

Groomsman

Noah, better known as Bible, and I met through Robert. We quickly folded him into the group and he became part of the memories. Bible found his purpose in life in the Marine Corps, where he is currently serving our country. Our whole group is proud of him for the sacrifices he makes to provide our freedoms. But, we still think of him as the same old Bible that used to crash on our couch almost every weekend (for a while anyway).

Sara Leatherberry

Flower Girl

Sara is Josh's youngest cousin on his dad's side. She has dreamed of being a flower girl for years and after being snubbed from the Lexy and Nick Patton wedding, it's only fitting that she was the perfect choice for our wedding.

Giovana Rodrigues

Flower Girl

Giovana (Gi) is Mariana's cousin on her mom's side. They grew up like sisters since they are so close in age, doing absolutely everything together until the big move. She is traveling from Brazil to be a part of their special day.

Eduardo Dombrowski

Honor Attendant

Although not an official member of the wedding party, Eddie has been a huge part of my life. He’s the best big brother a girl could ask for, he is supportive, loving, funny, and adventurous. He is constant motivation and makes me such a proud little sister every day. I’m so thankful to have someone like him to look up to.
