Canandaigua is derived from a Seneca word meaning "the Chosen Spot," which couldn't be more appropriate for this occasion. Since we both grew up in the greater Rochester area, we wanted to bring you all upstate to enjoy the beauty of the Finger Lakes region with us. On our first trip home from NYC together in 2021, we had lunch with Jacob's family at Rose Tavern and fell in love with the atmosphere of the Lake House, which was the perfect mix of our upstate New York roots with NYC design and style.
We kindly request the pleasure of your company in black-tie optional attire— formal or cocktail dresses (or jumpsuits). Tuxedos or suits with a tie. Please be aware that, weather-permitting, the ceremony will take place outside on grass, so select your shoes accordingly.
Due to venue constraints, our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
Although we love your children, due to venue constraints, we ask that only adults attend the festivities. We hope you are able to join us anyway and enjoy a relaxed evening with friends and family!
Yes, there is a parking lot at the Lake House (see schedule for the address).
We will not be providing transportation between the Lake House and the other hotels mentioned. If you're staying with us at the Lake House, you're in luck, as all of the events will be taking place there. If you're staying at another hotel or an AirBnb, please plan to drive to the Lake House or call an Uber (if choosing an Uber, order ahead of time!)
