You didn't visit Austin if you didn't eat authentic Mexican food.
In Austin, we're known for our tacos. Grab a breakfast taco (and their famous Doña salsa!) from our favorite taco stop - trust us, you won't regret it!
Go for a jog around the boardwalk or rent a kayak at one of the many shops on the waterfront. The views of the city are incredible.
A local Austin coffee shop with delicious hot chocolate, pastries and waterfront views. During the holidays, Mozart's decorates their deck with holiday lights and puts on an amazing light show every night. We highly recommend checking this performance out!
By far, the best ice cream in Austin. Mariam's favorite is the Mexican Vanilla with strawberries and chocolate sprinkles crushed in.
In the heart of downtown Austin, Congress Avenue has endless activities. Walk north and you'll see a beautiful view of our Capitol or head south and pop into local eateries and vintage shops. If you hang around here during sunset, you'll catch a spectacular view of the 1.3 million bats that live under the Congress Bridge.
Climb up the many steps to see 360-views of the entire city. An absolute must-see!
