What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. Ladies should wear a formal floor-length evening gown, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The weather in Tegucigalpa is usually warm all year long, remember it´s a tropical country. During August, the average temperature is around 25 °C, however at the venue where the reception is taking place, it might drop to 18-20 °C at night.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The Ceremony and reception will take place in two different venues. The religious ceremony is indoors and will take place at the Basilica of Our Lady of Suyapa which is a catholic church. The reception will take place at La Cumbre which is located in El Hatillo, a zone 20-25 minutes away from the city and includes both indoors and outdoors. Reconsider wearing stilettos :)

How does seating work?

Answer

For both the ceremony and the recepction there will be open seating so sit wherever you please.

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation will be provided for people coming from abroad: 1. From the hotel to the church 2. From the church to the reception 3. From the reception back to the hotel. Details still to be confirmed.
