This is an indoor event. The weather should be wonderful that time of year but we didn't want to take any chances because WI weather is crazy enough to give you whiplash.
Yes, we ask to see your Sunday best. Think homecoming or prom. This will be a Semi Formal/ Formal event. Dress appropriately please. Small eyes will be present. NO BLACK please. I'm superstitious, unless its a suit or tux, dress pant or shoe.
Of course. I have already accounted for many plus ones. If you need one or if you don't and you're unsure just reach out. We do need to have a set guest count to the venue 30 days prior to the big day so let us know ASAP.
DUH! We love all of our babies :) However, we understand that children under the age of 5 may not sit through the ceremony even though it's only 30 minutes. At that point out of respect for the moment we ask that if you have children under 5 years of age that you bring them to reception only to keep from distraction and keep them for being shhhed every few minutes. LOL If your young ones accompany you to the ceremony we just ask that you step out to the lobby before the going gets too rough. Please and Thank you!
After the ceremony there is a cocktail hour offered in the lobby to allow time for the wonderful Davians employees to reset the room for the reception. There will be a limited cash bar offered, or you may leave and come back for the reception.
Unfortunately not. We want to encourage a more sober enviornment, especially while the kids are still with us. Needless to say we know all of you want to party with us! We're expecting the audience to be more mature by like 9:30 or 10:00 pm
We are treating you all to dinner and soft drinks at the reception. Dinner will include: Chicken Piccata with grilled vegetable and gouda au gratin potatoes with an avocado lime salad. There is an option of chicken tenders and French fries for my little picky eaters :) if you need a kids meal let me know ASAP. Soda is free for the night for all guests. If you have a food allergy, or need vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free etc please let me know right away to account for it and so we can figure out other options for you.
Yes, take as many pics as you like, and post them to all your social media. All we ask is that your flash and sound be turned off for any pics or videos during the ceremony. Thanks!
Yes. Since the ceremony and reception are all in the same place, the venue is handicap accessible.
Yes you may! But we get first dibs LOL :)
So this question will be updated based on policy and COVID-19 updates. As of right now masks are not required but are encouraged. Waukesha county has less covid restrictions because their covid numbers are in declining steadily and are under control. So the decision is yours. We as a couple would encourage mask wearing for guests who are immunocompromised, or high risk.
