Travel & Accommodation
You can fly into either Florence Airport (Amerigo Vespucci) or Rome Airport (Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino). If you fly into Rome, getting to Florence by train is easy and takes about 1.5 hours.
Florence has plenty of accommodation options, including hundreds of hotels and Airbnbs. While we’ve shared a few recommendations below, feel free to book wherever suits you best. We definitely recommend staying near the Duomo for the most central location, but pick for your budget and preference!
The bus will pick up guests at the Florence Train Station (see the "Schedule" tab) before the wedding and drop everyone off there afterward. We recommend booking your stay in Florence for at least Thursday, August 6th and Friday, August 7th.
For those wishing to stay in the Chianti region after the wedding, we’ve listed two hotel options below. The bus can take you to and from these hotels on the wedding day, but you’ll need to arrange other transport for any additional travel or sightseeing.
