On a Saturday evening on Marquette's campus, Andy was playing video games when he received a call from another friend. He told Andy that they had met a group of girls that would use a guest dining swipe, and if he hurried, a free meal was in store. Rushing to the dining hall, Andy found his friends and was paired off with Maria to enter the dining hall. Maria and Andy ended up talking all night, and he invited her to his "Earth, Wind, & Fireball" party the following weekend, and hung out with pretty much all of their free time thereafter.

By September 2022, Andy and Maria had graduated from Marquette, became parents to the 2 cutest dogs, and moved in together. Before a trip to Texas, Andy bought a ring and asked Maria's parents for their blessing. After eating dinner in downtown San Antonio to celebrate Maria's birthday, they took a walk along the river. Underneath a beautiful lit up tree, Andy stopped and got down on one knee. We're so excited to share the next chapter of our lives with you! Looking forward to seeing everyone in Milwaukee!
