Isaiah and I met and matched on a dating app called Hinge on July 10th of 2022. We texted back and forth every day for a week. On July 17th, we had our first date at a little coffee shop in Wooster called Tulipan. We were obviously both very nervous, but that didn't stop us. We sat and talked for over two hours and I don't think we've stopped talking since.

The morning of July 9th 2023, Isaiah asked if I would go to breakfast with him. We got in the car and when I asked where we were going, he told me that it was a surprise. He drove us to Tulipan in Wooster, the coffee shop where we had our first date. After ordering, we found a table outside and reminisced about the great weekend we had: playing pickleball, going to the Ed Sheeran concert the night before and, now, having breakfast at the coffee shop where we started dating. Isaiah then decided that before asking me a very important question, he was going to give me a heart attack first; he said that since we started dating a Tulipan, we should stop dating there as well. My fear and worry, however, were very short lived because he reached into his pocket, pulled out a ring box and got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him. I immediately started crying and of course said "YES!" Isaiah and I are so excited to start this next chapter in our lives and celebrate with everyone! See you in June!
