Wedding Party

Jenny Kapoor

Maid of Honor

Jenny and Margot were each other's significant others before they met their future husbands. They met at the University of San Francisco (USF) (neither remembers exactly how) and proceeded to have the adventure of a lifetime together. Road tripping across the Southwestern United States, fly fishing the Snake River in Idaho, dancing to live music across the country, healing each other's broken hearts, watching each other fall in love and start families. It takes a special kind of friendship to grow and evolve with grace as lives, responsibilities, and priorities change. Margot is so happy to have her Seester Jenny by her side.

Eli Carrillo

Bridesmaid

Eli is an absolute force of nature. She and Margot met at USF and became inseparable over the years. These two have lived life together, a true lifetime friendship. Eli + Margs spent several months living together a couple of days a week while Eli was commuting into SF for work, and there are countless precious memories spent with each other, and Margot's beloved dog Baxter. This queen is truly part of the Kenney family, and also a soul-twin to Dennis.

Mayra Cuevas

Bridesmaid

Mayra radiates warmth and loveliness, and being a close friend of hers is pure joy. Another USF bestie, Mayra and Margot have enjoyed a decade + long friendship and countless adventures. Margot will never forget Mayra teaching the girls and a couple boyfriends Beyonce dance moves while Jenny's ping pong match raged on during Margot's 30th birthday weekend. These two got to grow up together and now cheer each other on from across the country.

Kristy Espejo

Bridesmaid

Kristy is human sunshine, halfway through Freshman year at USF Margot moved around the corner from Kristy in Hayes-Healy hall. It was friendship at first sight, and they have experienced some THINGS together! From Kristy's future husband jokingly stealing Margot's laptop for an afternoon, to disastrous and memorable Santa-cons, to incredible concerts, gorgeous days in Sonoma, laughing uncontrollably, and drying a few tears along the way.

Melissa McMillen

Bridesmaid

Melissa and Margs met out one lucky night at the Redwood Room in the Clift Hotel (with Eli!), apparently Russell Brand was there that night- in retrospect thankfully they managed to avoid him. They instantly bonded over their mutual love of the NE Patriots, their attendance of USF, and their love of a fun time. This special friendship has spanned the gamut between incredibly fun nights, and trips, to being there for each other in a super important and grounded way. There have been more famous sightings, including running into Will Arnett at Balbs, there is one very blurry photo to prove it!

Rachel Fishman

Bridesmaid

Rachael is a beautiful force of nature. She and Margot met after graduation, when she attended USF Grad School with Melissa. They instantly hit it off and got close. She was always down for football Sunday with Melissa and Margot, and countless fun memories were made. Rachael introduced Margot to very important things such as hair blow outs, Goodreads, and the beauty of Vancouver. It has been so beautiful to see Rachael get married, become a momma, and to spend time with her family.

Helena Arnold

Bridesmaid

Margot and her little sister Helena met when Margot was 16, and reunited with her birth mother- Peggy, and Helena was 4. It was love at first sight. Being Helena's big sister has been an absolute joy, and Margot has watched with pride as Helena has grown into an incredible young woman. There's nothing more fun than a sister becoming a great friend, confidant, partner in crime, and even colleague as adults. There's a lifetime of memories, from trips to Block Island, New Hampshire, Brooklyn, and San Francisco. One of Margot's favorite memories is fulfilling Helena's greatest wish to walk from her apartment to In-n-out on Helena's California trip.

Ally Arnold

Bridesmaid

Margot first met Ally when their mama Peggy was pregnant with her. She got to be there in the hospital and hold her sweet, adorable little sister the day after she was born. That first summer together, before Margot left for college in SF was amazing. Ally is such a bright, funny, sweet, and sassy spirit, and Margot could not be a prouder sister seeing the amazing woman she's become. They have also shared a lifetime of adventures, DENNIS Cape Cod being a particularly fun trip.

Jonas Edman

Officiant

Jonas and Denny have known each other since they were 5 year olds at the American School in Japan (ASIJ) 🇯🇵. They have lived their whole lives together and are like brothers. Jonas and his wife Karen have been incredibly warm and welcoming to Margot over the past few years, and there is no one we can think of who would be more meaningful to marry us. Thanks for getting ordained buddy, we love you!

Riki Hudachek

Best Man

Riki is Dennis’ brother, confidant, and lifelong friend. We’re so excited that he’s making the trip from Singapore to stand by Denny’s side.
