What should I do if I cannot attend the wedding?
Answer
We will miss you! However, we also understand it is a busy time of year! If you cannot make it, please let us know as soon as possible, as the library seating capacity is very limited! Please reach out to us by phone or email, mcdockerty@gmail.com or 561-809-2824. Thank you!

Will there be a nuptial mass?
Answer
Yes, we will be having a nuptial mass at St. Ignatious church on Boston College campus on Friday night at 5:00pm for family and bridal party. This mass is not part of the wedding weekend festivities, however for those of you in town and those who would like to join us, you are more than welcome! We would love to see you.

What is the dress code for the welcome party?
Answer
Welcome party will be at Woods Hill Pier Four restaurant in the seaport district in downtown Boston. We recommend elevated cocktail attire such as any length dress, jumpsuit or skirt. Men can wear button down with or without jacket, no tie required.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors in the courtyard at the BPL. Cocktail hour will take place in the courtyard as well. The reception will be indoors.

What will the weather be like in Boston in October?
Answer
We are hoping for a beautiful early fall wedding in Boston! Last year on October 5th it was a high of 73 and low of 64, the year before it was in the 50s! I would plan for a comfortable fall temperature, but bring a shawl or light coat just in case!

Are there any plans for Saturday before the wedding?
Answer
No! Please go out and enjoy your day in Boston~please see the "Things to do" tab above for more activities and options for your day! We will see you in the courtyard :)

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
The 3 hotel blocks are all located within one block of the Boston Public Library. Boston, the best walking city there is!
