We met our senior year of high school. We were in the same Junior ROTC class and participated in two sports together. Colin had never had a girlfriend before, so he got a little help from one of his friends (thanks John)! Now here we are, almost 7 years later!

I bothered Colin about this for so long. FINALLY (haha) he decided it was time. We went to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens to see the Christmas lights and he secretly brought two of my friends. Once I figured out that they were there, he told me it was a surprise Christmas present, so we could get nice pictures taken (Fun fact: We are horrible at changing up our poses for pictures, and we get made fun of all the time for it). We walked around for a bit and found a quiet spot in front of a fountain. As our pictures were being taken, Colin said "I have an idea for a pose" and that's when he got down on one knee!
