Marco & Lydia

On December 17, 2021, Marco invited Lydia to watch his Jazz Band perform at the annual Santa's Village festival. This was the start of daily texts and phone calls. 

In January, Marco officially asked Lydia on a date....Lydia said she would think about it. A week went by, and Marco became impatient and asked again. Lydia's response was "Yes, but...". Lydia had conditions - keeping the dates secret, no dates in the Garland/Richardson area..the list went on and on. Marco was not scared away, and Lydia was impressed with his willingness to accept her conditions. 

Marco and Lydia went to Huckabees Coffee in Rockwall on their first date. The date went so well; they ended up walking along the Harbor and stayed to eat dinner. The couple continued to date in secret before making their public appearance as a couple in 2023 at TMEA. 

The couple has rescued three of the cutest puppies to join their family. Their love for each other and the puppies continues to grow daily. ❤️
