Madalyn Buha - Goepfrich
Matron of Honor
Madalyn is Maranda's older sister and first best friend! Growing up they were always mistaken as twins. She is always there for the bride and her go-to person to help bring our wedding vision to life. At times Madalyn seems to know more about what the bride wants than the bride does! She keeps the bride calm and helps push her to be the best version of herself. Madalyn loves Michael, and has no problem being the family's personal physician. We are very lucky to have such a smart and loving person in our life!
Mark Johnston
Best Man
Mark is Michael's childhood best friend. They met in 7th grade at Holmes Middle School in Livonia and have been inseparable since. They consider themselves brothers from other mothers. The groom can always count on Mark. He's an honest and loyal friend. Mark and Michael spend the majority of their time together hunting or fishing and if they aren't doing that, they're talking about it. Michael was lucky enough to stand beside Mark on his wedding day as his best man and now he gets to return the favor.
Mallory Buha
Maid of Honor
Mallory is Maranda's younger sister and best friend! The two have been teammates their entire swim careers and had the pleasure to swim together at IUPUI for Maranda's senior year. Besides being a great athlete, Mal is a makeup queen and has made the bride look flawless in every important wedding photo op! Mal is a friend to all and those who know her know how kind and generous she is! Mallory has a contagious smile and the ability to turn any situation into a good time! She adds a special sparkle to our wedding festivities!
Casey Smith
Groomsman
Michael met Casey in his college years as he was dating the groom's friend Tara (Mark's sister). Since the day Tara started bringing Casey around, Michael and Casey hit it off. They enjoy fishing and golfing together, and Casey has been a big help in Michael's golf game. Casey got Michael to join a Fantasy Football league, where the groom has dominated ;) ! You will find Casey with his beautiful wife, Tara and hopefully see photos of their adorable son, Jordan. Casey brings a lot of fun and energy to the grooms wedding party! Be sure to share a cheers with him!
Mandy Washko
Bridesmaid
Mandy (aka Amanda, Manda, and Manders) is one of Maranda's oldest friends. The two met as single digit kiddos through swimming on Spartan Aquatic Club together. Mandy is someone the bride can always depend on especially when it comes to a good workout. Mandy gives the best kick in the butt workouts and helps keep the bride motivated and accountable with her fitness as a retired collegiate athlete. Don't mess with this bridesmaid, she's a triple threat - strong, smart and beautiful! You will probably catch her keeping everyone hydrated and trying not to cry on the big day!
Michal Jarosz
Groomsman
The groom met Mike through the best man, Mark. Mike lives near the property the groom and best man hunt on. Although Mike lives over an hour away, their friendship stays strong through their frequent phone calls, love of Busch Light, and outdoor adventures. If Mike isn't outdoors for fun, he's outside building barns, landscaping and doing construction for others through his business. The groom looks up to Mike in his work ethic and family first mentality. Mike recently got married and is a new dad! Mike brings gentlemen qualities to the groomsman, but don't miss his witty jokes at the groom's expense. This groomsman is bilingual in English and Polish and you can find him tearing up a dance floor!
Lia Perham
Bridesmaid
Lia is another one of Maranda's oldest friends. The two met when they were about 8 years old on Spartan Aquatic Club swim team. Although they swam for rival high schools, the two are each other's biggest cheerleaders. Distance has nothing on this friendship as the two have not lived in the same state since high school, but have remained best friends through the years. As they say - Friends forever never apart, maybe in distance but never at heart. Lia and her husband recently moved back to the mitten and we could not be more thrilled! Maranda was lucky enough to stand beside Lia on her wedding day and now she gets to return the honor!
Tonio Schembri
Groomsman
Tonio met the groom through working together at Progressive in 2017 and they continue to be co-workers at Ford to this day. Work is more fun when you get to do it with your friends! The two embody the phrase, Work hard, play harder! Outside of work hours, Tonio is a husband and parent to two awesome kids! Tonio and Michael enjoy golfing and ice fishing trips up north at Tonio's lake house. The groom and Tonio both share a love for nurses; the bride and Tonio's wife both have nursing backgrounds. Tonio brings a lot of fun and wisdom to the bridal party!
Janice Smalley
Bridesmaid
Janice and Maranda met in grade school, were high school swimming teammates and forever friends! She was one of the first friends to give the bride her stamp of approval of the groom. Janice is a great friend, has a contagious laugh, and could be your dentist! Maranda had the honor of standing beside Janice on her wedding day and now she gets to return the favor. You can find Janice and her new husband at the bar and lighting up the dance floor most of the night!
Pat Goepfrich
Groomsman
Pat is the brides brother-in-law and family to Micheal. Michael and Pat get to compete on a daily basis to be Barry's favorite son-in-law. Pat and the groom spend a lot of time together playing/discussing golf, the stock market, football and which Buha sister is being more unreasonable at the time. Pat has sparked Michael's interest and new found love for bourbon even though Michael couldn't keep up with Pat on the bourbon trail this past year. The groom feels lucky to have Pat as a friend but more so to be gaining a great brother in law. You can find Pat with an old fashioned, dancing with his wife, Madalyn, and possibly getting sentimental over his little sister's (Maranda) wedding day.
Kristin Grenley

Kristin is Michael's older sister and soon to be Maranda's sister-in-law! She has been so welcoming and loving to the bride that she already feels like a sister. Kristin (aka Kiki) sets such a great example of what a great friend, sister, mom and wife looks like. She tackles life like a super woman and is always willing to help or share her wisdom. She is the life of the party and mother to Michael and Maranda's wonderful niece and nephew! You will find her living her best life dancing with her family and trying to keep it together as her baby bro gets hitched! YeeHaw!
Shawn Grenley
Groomsman
Shawn is Michael's brother-in-law and the father of the bride and groom's adorable niece and nephew. The groom could tell early on that Shawn was perfect for his sister, Kristin. Shawn is very personable and loved by all! He is the creator of the best cocktails with his speciality in margaritas! Shawn really knows how to throw a party and take a great group selfie! Michael and Shawn both share the love for fantasy football but Shawn's true love is for WWE wrestling. You will find him enjoying the fun and taking group photos and videos that we will all cherish forever!
