We met through a little dating app called Hinge. Jake picked my favorite restaurant, Bar La Grassa, which told me he had good taste. Our second date at Café Lurcrat he won me over, and after we survived a Minnesota State fair day together we knew we had something special.

Jake planned a night in Stillwater for a mini getaway knowing I didn’t want a crowd. While I attended his sisters bridal shower thinking he was helping his dad with yardwork he went and set-up the room. I almost ruined his plans when we were driving to the hotel. For some reason Jake didn’t think I would try to get a nap in on the 20 minute drive and when I reached for my pillow he started to panic. He had put the ring in my pillowcase. I was very caught off guard when he took my pillow away but started to catch on. When we walked into the hotel room I was confused when I saw that there was stuff set up but then he got down on one knee. No Idea what either of us said besides obviously, Yes!
