We're getting married!

It all started when two nerds wanted to get away from the real world and escape to Harry Potter Land in Orlando FL. Manny and I were both very big Harry Potter fans and wanted to work at universal studios so we can experience the magic (and get free tickets.) I was working at a call center at the time and was not happy at all. The only solace I found was through the Harry Potter books so naturally, I chased that high. Manny was working at Disney but he had a good amount of strikes against him so instead of getting fired, he told the mouse "see ya later!" We both ended up working at Gringotts and had no idea the other person existed for a little while. One day, I was saying hello to everyone in the room and giving hugs (since I am a social butterfly) and I noticed that he was the only person I didn't greet. I ended up feeling bad, so I touched his upper arm and said "hi, how are you?" He decided to turn around and whisper something to his friend next to him which I thought was rude. I thought "I didn't have to say hi to him I was just being nice." I turned around and said "is there a problem?" (mind you, most of you know how non confrontational I am so I have no idea what possessed me to do this) He then went on to explain how every time he gets a tattoo, someone touches him in that exact area that people normally wouldn't before. He proceeded to play a prank on me that very day by stealing my flashlight (the Gringotts ride is very dark so we needed them to do our jobs.) I was still new to the job so I immediately panicked trying to find it so I could continue checking the lap bars. He came up to me as I was frantically looking around and told me "oh no... you lost the flashlight? That is going to come out of your paycheck." Me being gullible and very broke at the time started to freak out. He started laughing at me and gave me back the flash light and the rest is history! The reason we chose the date October 4, 2024 is because at Gringotts we would use radios to communicate and the code for copy was "10/4". Which we ended up adopting in our every day vocabulary. We wanted to pay homage to the magical way that we met so we decided to pick this day to signify such a beautiful time in our lives. We will be forever thankful to God and the universal hiring team for bringing us together. Always.<3
