From Libby, travel 15 miles northeast on State Highway 37. Turn west on Forest Development Road 228 and continue for about 10 miles to the site. The entrance to the campground is on your right. After entering the recreation area, turn right at the junction and follow for 1200 feet. The gate and shelter are on the right. Follow the signs and directions to the campground for parking and camping! The entire weekend will be spent here. The picture above is of the entire property, you will notice on the bottom third there is an opening of land barren of trees. The site is listed at "Group Site 1" and is where your campers can be parked or tents set up! There is a parking lot where your cars must be parked while not in use. The area is a first come first served for all invited out to camp, so be prepared to make new "neighbor"-friends! Please note- There is a vault toilet for the camp site, but there is NO electricity or running water accessible for campers. Feel free to bring a generator for your electric needs. There is also NO WIFI or Cell Service, so be prepared to be unplugged while you are enjoying the day or weekend!
