Covid-19 FAQs

We know everyone's experience and comfort-level with Covid is different, and we want to assure you that we are doing everything we can to make sure that we all feel as safe and comfortable as possible. There are a number of guests at the wedding who are at high risk, and we are taking it very seriously. We hope you will as well. Please know that if any of this is outside your comfort level, we completely understand and fully support any personal decisions you need to make in regards to any of the weekend's festivities.
Question

What are your vaccination requirements?

Answer

We are requiring that all wedding guests receive a covid vaccine before attending. If you are unable to get a vaccine for medical or other reasons, please let us know. Otherwise, we will be requiring that you send us proof of vaccination well in advance of the event.

Question

What are your testing requirements?

Answer

All guests are required to get a PCR the week leading up to the wedding and provide proof of a negative test upon arrival. We will be also providing rapid tests and requiring that all guests administer one when they first arrive at the venue. The rapid tests only take 15 minutes, and they are very easy to do. If you test negative, you won't be asked to test again, and you can enjoy the weekend's festivities knowing that you and everyone else at the event have tested negative. If you test positive, however, you are welcome to take a second test to be sure. But if the result comes back positive again, we unfortunately won't be able to allow you to attend.

Question

Do I need to come early to take a Covid test?

Answer

Yes. Please arrive 20 minutes early to whatever your first event of the weekend is. We will send out more details about this and reminders closer to the date.

Question

Are masks required?

Answer

Guests are not required to wear masks, but should you feel more comfortable wearing a mask at any point during the weekend, we highly encourage it.

Question

Are your events indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, wedding ceremony, wedding reception, and the pool party will all take place outdoors. The only event that will be inside is the after-party (due to local noise ordinances).

Question

What is required of your vendors?

Answer

All vendors, servers and staff have been vaccinated and will be masked during all events.

Question

What if I'm feeling sick on the day of the wedding?

Answer

This likely goes without saying, but if you are feeling any symptoms at all, we ask that you kindly let us know and refrain from attending, in order to ensure everyone else's safety.
