There are so many great wineries to check out and explore in the area. Here are a few of our favorites: Gainey (gaineyvineyard.com) / Sunstone Vineyards & Winery (http://www.sunstonewinery.com/) / Lincourt Vineyard (lincourtwines.com) . Rideau Vineyard (rideauvineyard.com) / Demetria Estate Winery (demetriaestate.com) / Melville (https://melvillewinery.com/)
This cute little town is one of our favorites, with art galleries, boutiques and a couple of great places to eat strung along a two-block-long main street. You'll also find about a dozen tasting rooms here and Jon's favorite spot - Fig Mountain Brewery!
The Hitching Post is the famous steak restaurant where the main characters hang out in the movie Sideways. It's an old school steak joint off the side of the highway, and they just opened a tasting room next door. Fun Fact: The whole Sideways film was shot in this wine area!
If getting active is your thing there are plenty of hiking and running trails near by or check out our favorite - Bloom Yoga Studio - http://bloomyogasolvang.com/
Quaint town, with a western vibe, boasting some amazing places to shop, eat and sip! Can't go wrong with a stop at Full of Life flatbread, sips at Bodega (next door), an old fashioned at the 1880 Union Saloon or thrifting at Depot Antique Mall.
