When should I book my room?

Answer

It is important that you book your room as soon as possible. The resort has provided us with the promo code for a discount and room availability is on a first come first serve basis. There is also a three night minimum stay requirement in order to take advantage of the promo code perks. Please be advised that your credit card will not be fully charged until 30 days prior to your stay. There will simply be a $1 hold placed on your card. Booking deadline is October 6th, 2023!

How do I book?

To book your stay at the Excellence Riviera Cancun please follow the directions below: - Go to www.excellenceresorts.com or click the website link above - Fill in with your reservation details on the bottom of the page (Make sure to choose Excellence Riviera Cancun under "Destinations" as there are a few different Excellence resort locations). - In the promo code box, type RNWDEC23XRC - Click “Check Availability” - Select your room category - Make sure that a box indicates “Promo-Code Applied: RNWDEC23XRC” underneath the room category description. - Click “Book Now” - Fill in your personal information - Click “Confirm Booking” to complete your reservation and you're all set! Cancún Transportation

Answer

Every guest who stays at the Excellence Riviera Cancun Resort for at least three nights is eligible for a round trip free transfer to and from the airport. The airport transfer company that works with the Excellence Riviera Cancun Resort is called Seasons Tours. Wedding Attire

Answer

Semi-Formal/Beach Formal: Ladies - semi-formal dress, like a flowy maxi or midi, as well as a cocktail dress, jumpsuit or dressy separates. Guys can go with or without a jacket + a tie. We will be on the beach for most of the evening, so choose shoes that you would like to wear in the sand or that are easy to remove. There will be a dance floor for the reception so be sure to bring your best dancing shoes!

What will the weather be like?

The average high for early December is a beautiful 80-85 degrees, with the average low being between 65-70 degrees. During the day, expect lots of sunshine ☀️Our ceremony and reception will both be outdoors so dress accordingly!

Resort Check-In & Check-Out Times

Answer

Check in time is 3pm - midnight and check out is at noon. If you arrive to the resort early on check in day and your room isn't ready yet, staff will hold onto your luggage for you and you can still enjoy the pools, bars, and restaurants. Be sure to pack your swimsuit in your carry on so you can head straight to the pool upon arrival!

Will I need a passport?

Answer

Since this is an international trip, you do need a valid passport. Your expiration date must not be earlier than six months after travel. Passport cards are not valid for international air travel. If you have a passport, be sure to check the expiration date. If you don't already have a passport, it is a good idea to apply early to be sure you receive it in time for your trip. Passports normally take 4-6 weeks to process. We suggest applying a minimum of 3 months in advance as a precaution. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the completion of the trip. If your passport expires sooner than that, you must apply to renew your passport.

Resort Dress Code

Please be advised that in order to dine at certain restaurants during the evening there is a dress code. Be sure to pack some of these items! Dinner Dress Code: Casual Elegance For ladies: Long pants, capri pants, or skirt with a blouse, or a dress For gentlemen: Long dress pants and collared shirt Casual shoes or elegant sandals must be worn. T-shirts, tank tops, shorts, beach sandals, and flip flops are not allowed (for dinners!)
