We were set up by Cole's Sister-in-law Lauren at Ore Dock Brewing during a Bumpus Concert in Marquette, MI. She recommended we hang out due to similar interests, (skiing, and mountain biking) and the possibility of having someone else fun to double-date with. What ultimately brought them together was Cole's dog, Oliver. When Cole and Mallory met, Cole worked full-time and Mallory was still in school at NMU. Mallory would offer to take Cole's dog on hikes while he was working and not bring Oliver home to Cole. This leads to Mallory pretty much stealing Oliver, and the rest is history!

One of Cole and Mallory's favorite things is live music. On a hot day in July, Cole and Mallory went to The CAAMP concert at Deer Valley Resort. Mallory and Cole both had worked at Deer Valley when they first moved to Utah. One fun thing about Deer Valley is they allow outside food and beverage for their concerts on the lawn. During the concert Mallory was digging around in the picnic bags and picked up a bag, and there slid out a black ring box....... Shortly after this Cole proposed. Do Mallory and Cole remember any of the concert after this? NO! But was it perfect for them? YES !! We can not wait to party with all of you in Utah and celebrate!
