What is the dress code?

Answer

This is a semi-formal/ cocktail affair so we invite you to dress up with us. The theme is Modern Country and the colors are green, gold, and black. Of course we want you to wear what ever you feel best in and sticking to the colors isn’t mandatory. Please no type or shade of white dresses and no jeans.

Are kids welcomed?

Answer

We love your kids, and they hold a special place in our heart! For this day though, it will be an adults only event, with the exception of the flower girl, and ring bearers. Those invited will be listed on the invitation. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time, so you can celebrate with us.

Where can we stay?

Answer

Please refer to the travel tab, as we have outlined numerous hotels in the area that we have blocked for our special day! Please be sure to book as soon as possible, as these locations do fill up quickly with the nearby college.

When can we arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Guests are asked to start arriving around 2:30 PM to be seated by our ushers and no later than 15 mins prior to ceremony start time as the doors are locked and you will be asked to sit in your vehicle to not disturb the exchanging of the vows.

Can we take pictures throughout the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplug ceremony, which means that all cell phones and cameras must be turned off and put away for the duration of the ceremony. We have two amazing photographers ( Bre and Autumn) and an amazing videographer (Brandon), we love them, and we know you will, too. Please be present with us, and allow the professionals to do what they’re paid for. You will have the opportunity to take as many photos at the reception as you’d like, which you will be able to share with us.

Where do we park?

Answer

Outside the venue, there will be a staff assistant directing you on where to park as well as signs, letting you know where to park. If you leave your car overnight, you will have until 10 AM to retrieve your car.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding, and joining us for a special day is more than we could ask for, but if you do feel the wish to grant us a gift, we are registered on Amazon, or a cash gift would be graciously accepted to go towards our future honeymoon to California.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

June in Indiana is very unpredictable, we suggest keeping an eye on Wanatah, Indiana on the weather app on your phone. We are having the ceremony outside and the reception to follow inside. We expect it to be fairly warm with fans on the inside so we suggest bringing a light jacket or sweater to cover up if you get cold, but we think we will be dancing enough to keep us warm!

What if I can’t make it to the wedding?

Answer

While we will be very sad that you cannot attend, We completely understand. Please RSVP “No“ so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What do we do after the ceremony?

Answer

We invite guests into the building for our cocktail hour to enjoy music and snacks, while the wedding party and family take photos. We will join you shortly after to begin the reception!
