FAQs

Hello! We cannot wait to celebrate with our friends and family. This is an opportunity for everyone to meet each other, party, and celebrate two people in love. With that being said, we have a few things that we request and if you are not able to meet these expectations, we don't love you any less, we just ask that you enjoy our wedding from home as we livestream it!
Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We ask that you leave the kids at home as this will be a kid free wedding. There will be a limited open bar and not only do we want to cut loose, we'd love for you to be able to do the same!

Question

May I wear white?

Answer

Please do not wear white. As silly as this sounds, we've seen it done... we just ask that you don't do it. We recommend "tropical" attire, as if you're going to a semi-formal on the beach!

Question

What if someone makes me feel uncomfortable or is offensive?

Answer

We have friends and family representing all different backgrounds, cultures, identities, etc... Absolutely no homophobia, racism, or downright rude comments will be tolerated. Example: Making weird faces at people wearing dresses that you wouldn't "typically" see, talking bad about languages you aren't familiar with, etc... We would hope that we don't have anyone on our guest list that would do this, however, this is a safe space for everyone invited and if this is brought to our attention, you will be asked to leave.

Question

Is smoking or vaping allowed?

Answer

Not at this wedding! Not only is the bride highly allergic but we would like everyone to feel as comfortable as possible.

Question

May I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony is unplugged. You may take photos and videos of the reception and everything in between... but we ask that you leave your phones on silent and in your pockets/purses during the ceremony as we allow our photographer and videographer to capture our special moment with no interruption.

Question

May I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless your invitation states otherwise, this is not a plus one wedding. Unfortunately, we could not accommodate everyone we would like to have celebrate with us, however, we are live streaming our ceremony and will have a link available for those unable to attend. The name(s) listed on the invitation is to whom the RSVP is intended for.
